Hello,
My name is Makenna Cobb, and I am the face behind the posts on our website. Today, I realized that I have been posting about the jobs we have done without introducing the people who are doing them.
The photos you see here show that this is a family-run business, with a small family of three. We are your average family who loves to spend time together. Cobbs Interior Finishing was first started by my husband and me when I was eight months pregnant. Yes, you heard that right. Were we crazy to quit our 9-5 jobs when we were about to have a new born baby? I certainly thought so at the time. But for everyone who knows my husband, and for those who don’t, he is the most hardworking and people-friendly person I know. When he said, “Babe, I think we can do this,” I said, “nope, you are crazy.” But I knew that he would make it possible for us to succeed, and he has!
It wasn’t easy at first, but that’s to be expected when you start a new business. Fast forward to now, we do all of the new construction paint for Yeargan Custom Construction. Currently, we are subcontracting out to my sister-in-law’s/brother-in-law’s company ( AMPED CONSTRUCTION LLC). We use them because when we are not physically able to be there, we know that they will come to the jobsite with the same work ethic as us. They are hardworking, kind, and detail-oriented. So, if you see different faces at job sites, that’s who you are meeting. Say hello to them!! AMPED Construction
