We got to see Georgia's calf at the county fair! His new family loves him, especially their youngest who gets cuddles from "Patrick Mooholmes" and just hangs out with him regularly. 🥰 We may even get to see PatMoo again next year, as they plan to show him again.

I really love all the new people we've met on this dairy cow journey!

Look! We got merch! (Well, technically just a sample to see how it turned out.) My big kids said we weren't official until there was merch, so I guess we're official now!

Georgia's favorite thing is going on new pasture. My favorite thing is her following me when I call because she associates me with good things: the relief of milking, treats, scratches, and fresh grass. ❤️

We're off and running with milk sales this week! We are so excited to once again be sharing Georgia's delicious milk with others!

It's a bull! Georgia waited until I'd been gone an hour before she calved. Three births have happened on our farm (the other two were goats), and I've missed them all! But I can't complain since both baby and mama are happy and healthy.

He was a whopper, too, at around 77 pounds, which best I can tell is about average.

Georgia is one week past her due date, but it looks like today might be the day! Look at that udder! Her belly isn't quite as round as it was, indicating baby may have moved into position for birth. Poor girl has been in the barn every morning when I go to check on her, but today she's out grazing in the rain, very unlike her. 🤷‍♀️

Time will tell, as it always does!

If you've ever been full-term pregnant, you probably know how Georgia is feeling on this, her DUE DATE! She is showing signs of a calf's soon arrival, but nothing that says "today is the day!" She's been lying down more, which the vet assured me was because she is heavy pregnant and is just tired. As a mom of five, I understood that completely. So she's getting extra scratches and animal crackers each time we check on her throughout the day.

I'll keep you posted when there's a calf on the ground!
