We’re excited to congratulate Reno native and UCLA Head Baseball Coach John Savage for being named the 2026 Skip Bertman Coach of the Year, a top honor in coaching college baseball.

His strong work with UCLA's program has been equally evident in player development and the MLB Draft. Over his 22 seasons in Westwood, UCLA has produced 130 draft selections.

As the youngest of the three Savage brothers, John continues to represent the Savage family name with excellence, leadership, and a relentless commitment to his team. From Reno to the national spotlight, we're proud to celebrate this incredible achievement.

From Reno High to the national spotlight, the Savage name continues to make Northern Nevada proud! Huge congratulations to Reno’s own John Savage and the UCLA Baseball team on an incredible season and claiming their first-ever Big Ten Tournament Championship, earning the No. 1 national seed heading into the NCAA Tournament, and bringing home Big Ten Coach of the Year honors.

As the youngest of the three Savage brothers, John has spent more than 15 seasons leading UCLA Baseball with consistency, grit, and excellence, building one of the premier programs in the country and earning unanimous selection as Big Ten Coach of the Year. Go John, and Go Bruins!

Got little flies hanging around your drain? Yeah… that’s not random.
Drain flies show up when there’s buildup sitting inside your pipes, soap scum, grease, all the stuff you don’t see but definitely don’t want.

Spraying them won’t fix it, you’ve gotta clean the line. Boiling water and a good scrub can help, but if they keep coming back, there’s more going on deeper in the drain.
