This beautiful kitchen remodel features Starmark Oak Taft cabinetry with Frost stain with ebony glaze on the wall cabinets and Driftwood stain with ebony glaze on the base cabinets. Other features include a Kohler cast-iron farm sink, Delta faucet, Luna Pearl granite countertops, Tarkett Pro Gen flooring, and Dolomite Pearl Marble lantern tile on the backsplash.

Our last project of 2025 was this major overhaul of a kitchen, dining, entry, and pantry area. We redesigned the entire space to blend beautiful aesthetics with functionality.
This area included features such as Starmark Fullerton Maple cabinets stained Slate with a Nickel glaze, Kohler cast-iron farm sink, Delta faucet and pot fillers, refrigerator/freezer combo, plank ceilings, Tarkett Pro Gen floors, marble countertops from DuBois Granite & Quartz, a marble backsplash behind the cooktop, and marble tile on the remainder of the backsplash. The entryway area includes natural slate flooring, a wall locker area for storage and seating for guests, and a great view of the gorgeous kitchen! Off the side of the kitchen is a pantry area with tons of storage, shelving, and a desk. The kitchen also includes a 10 foot island for food prep, the famous Christmas cookie prep, and seating for lots of friends and family! We finished off the space with new trim stained to match the cabinetry, as well as a a beautiful Andersen French door stained to match.

🚨Major Upgrade!!‼️
This bathroom remodel required an extensive demo and was rebuilt from the ground up! The new bathroom includes beautiful Starmark Hickory Fullerton cabinets with Oregano stain, recessed medicine cabinets, quartz countertop with vessel sinks, a Sterling Accord caulkless shower kit with a high quality shower door, Tarkett Pro Gen Flooring, Delta faucets, Kohler toilet, washer and dryer hookups, LED lighting, Kichler vanity lights, and much more! The bathroom is large enough to accommodate tons of storage, allowed the laundry to be moved from the basement, and still left room for a large accessible shower.
We also installed a beautiful Hickory mantle over the fireplace which matches the Hickory kitchen that we installed several years ago.

We got a little creative with this one! One of our great customers had a need for a baby gate at the top of their staircase. We custom built this baby gate to match the existing trim in the house. The gate is solid oak with gate latch hardware to keep it shut, and when it isn’t in use, it rolls out of the staircase opening into its frame using caster wheels alongside the hallway wall.

One of our recently completed projects was this small bathroom overhaul. We removed the tile shower and shower doors, as well as the tile flooring and Formica countertops from the vanity. We installed a Sterling Accord caulkless maintenance free shower system with Delta Stainless 14-series shower controls and shower head, repainted the walls and ceiling, installed waterproof vinyl flooring from Lifeproof, new vanity light, new baseboard trim, and a beautiful new quartz vanity top with white under-mount sink.

One of our latest projects was a massive upgrade to a basement bathroom. We started with a complete demo, reframed, new plumbing, new wiring, and improved the layout. This bathroom includes beautiful Starmark Rustic Hickory Fullerton cabinets, a Sterling Ensemble caulkless shower, Delta faucets, and a Delta shower door. We custom built a drop-ceiling from Oak panels and Oak trim and added lots of recessed lighting, as well as a vent fan/heater in the ceiling. We tiled the floor and added a pocket door for easier access.

We have been progressing through a whole house remodel in sections since the fall of 2023. After yesterday’s post, we are almost done with the second floor of this home (currently working on the last bedroom), and today’s post is the first main-floor section of the remodel.
The cameraman (AKA me) forgot to take “before” pictures of this project…. Which is disappointing because this area NEEDED a remodel! The 30-year old linoleum flooring was worn through to the subfloor in several places and there were remnants of an old laundry area after we moved the laundry upstairs in late 2023.
For this project we moved the half-bathroom into the old laundry area, built a wall with a pocket door, and then framed the old closet and half-bathroom into a large walk-in closet with another pocket door. Both the half-bath and the closet have Tarkett Pro Gen Durham Pine Tavern flooring, solid maple 6-panel doors, maple trim, Armstrong Woodhaven ceilings, and LED disc lighting. The half-bathroom has Rustic Hickory Fullerton cabinets stained Slate with a Nickel glaze, including the vanity, recessed medicine cabinet, and Johnny-wall cabinet for extra storage above the toilet. The closet has Hickory Stratford cabinets stained Slate with a Nickel glaze. The vanity top is from and the closet has a maple butcher block top.

Our latest project has been a work in progress for quite awhile! For this project we completed a second floor remodel.
In the fall of 2023 we started with the upstairs bath, upstairs laundry, and flooring in a few bedrooms.
Fall of 2024…. We came back for one of the biggest projects we have undertaken. We started with the master bathroom with a full demo, rewiring, plumbing, and vastly changing the layout. We added a larger window, a soaking tub, massive tiled walk-in shower, and lots of storage space. The shower is with their lighted niches, large format tile on the shower walls, mosaic tile on the shower floor, 2 rain shower heads, and 2 hand showers. The bathroom floor is tiled over Ditra underlayment and the entire bathroom shower and floor is waterproofed with Schluter Kerdi-band. The bathroom cabinets are Maple Fullerton with Creekstone tinted varnish. The countertops are from . The ceilings are Armstrong Woodhaven, and the faucets and fixtures are all Delta Trinsic Brilliance Stainless.
After completing the master bathroom, we utilized an unused area above the garage, cut a doorway through from the master bedroom, and created a massive walk-in closet. We installed the subfloor, framed, insulated, drywalled, installed heating, and used LED disc lights throughout.
We installed Tarkett Progen Spicebark Hickory Comino flooring throughout the master bedroom and closet to match the rest of the flooring that we installed in the hallway and bedrooms during our last project.
We installed Natural Maple trim and beautiful solid maple 6-panel doors throughout the second floor of this home (with the exception of the large rustic hickory doors for the hallway laundry closet last year).
We also removed an old closet in the hallway and replaced it with beautiful Maple Fullerton Natural utility cabinets.

One of our latest projects was this gorgeous kitchen transformation in DuBois. This kitchen included Starmark Maple cabinets with Cosmopolitan doors painted with Frost tinted varnish. We topped off the cabinets with a wide crown molding to the ceiling and eliminated the original bulkheads. The countertops are Hanstone Storm Quartz and a stainless steel double bowl undermount sink. We installed a Delta Essa Stainless kitchen faucet. The backsplash is Lantern Bright White mosaic with Mapeii Frost grout. The flooring is a Tarkett ProGen vinyl floating in Cerused Oak Denim color. We finished everything off with new poplar trim painted white.
After the kitchen we moved outside and changed deck boards and railings for a composite system that will last for many years. The decking is Trex Lava Rock and the railings are Timbertech Impression Express.

A few of our summer projects! These included a kitchen remodel using Mantra Omni Mineral cabinets with Hartson Kennedy Carrara Bianco matte finish countertops and backsplash; a kitchen reface using Walzcraft custom cabinet doors that we finished with Slate stain and an Ebony glaze; a pool pump enclosure using Brown Woodgrain Polywood and metal roofing; and Hemlock board and batten siding to cover an existing stucco wall.
