If your Pinterest board feels a little all over the place, you are probably in a better spot than you think.

Most people do not come to us with a perfectly polished vision for their home. (Nor should they.) They come with saved images collected over years. A hundred small moments of “I love this, but I do not know why.”

Our job is not simply to select beautiful things. It is to identify the through line between all of those ideas and translate them into a home that feels cohesive, functional, personal, and reflective of the people living there.

Your home should never feel like a direct copy of someone else’s life.

The strongest projects are not built by recreating a Pinterest image. They come from understanding why certain spaces resonate with you in the first place, then shaping those ideas around the way your family lives.

We are big believers that your home should not already exist somewhere else on the internet. It should feel uniquely yours.

Character can't always be added to cart.

For this project, we converted a vintage sideboard into a custom vanity, allowing the room to feel more collected, personal, and connected to the character of the home.

This kind of decision requires more than finding a pretty piece. The plumbing has to be considered. Storage needs to be taken into account. And, how do we waterproof it?

Instead of defaulting to something standard, we looked for an opportunity to bring history and warmth into a hardworking space, even if it was more difficult than selecting something off the shelf.

Do you believe in magic? Sometimes, interior design feels like magic. Ceilings feel taller, function and flow are radically improved, and everything we touch becomes infinitely prettier.

But, It’s actually not magic, it’s really hard work from our team and our fantastic contractor partners (shout out to !) to bring everything together. There were months of coordination, phone calls, site visits, and panicked texts between demo day and this moment. From where we started to pulling in the final pieces this week, it never gets old seeing a clients’ dream home come to fruition.

The best renovations do not always begin with adding square footage... in the traditional sense.

Often, recognizing where the existing home is not working hard enough is the key to adding more functional living space.

In 's living room, this area was previously just "the awkward space behind the couch."

Instead of leaving this as underused space, we used custom built-in cabinetry, a custom banquette, and a custom game table to create a second living space within the larger room.

Now this area is the primo spot for homework and boardgames; all without adding anything on to the home.

Most who come to us are not simply looking for a prettier kitchen or updated finishes. They are trying to solve years of piecemeal decisions, awkward layouts, storage frustrations, and spaces that simply do not support the way their family lives.

That was exactly the story behind .

This home had incredible potential and a wonderful location, but the layout felt disconnected and difficult to navigate day-to-day. Over the course of the renovation, we reworked the home as a whole by relocating entire rooms and reclaiming underutilized square footage. Along the way, we layered in color, character, and plenty of our clients’ personality too.

One of the greatest privileges of this work is helping clients articulate ideas they cannot always fully explain themselves. Our role is to translate all of that into a home that feels cohesive, functional, and truly personal to the family living inside it.

So when this client shared:
“When we give tours of the house, it’s a joy to share the story of how you took a bunch of random ideas and inspo and our weird layout and turned it into our dream home…”

Thoughtful design doesn't stop at the spaces everyone expects to matter, it extends to the smaller moments too.

It is not surprising when a renovated home has an eye catching primary bedroom or kitchen, but that next echelon of home invests in easily overlooked spaces.

This coffee bar was not treated as an afterthought. It was intentionally designed to support the rhythm of the family’s day while adding a distinct point of view to the home.

The punchy green cabinetry brings energy without feeling novelty-driven. The statement wallpaper adds character and depth. Together, they create a hardworking space that feels personal, polished, and intentionally connected to the larger design story.

When we walk High Point Market, we are not just looking for what is new. We are studying the details that make a piece worth specifying.

We are noticing the pitch of a chair, the way a cushion sits, the stitching on a skirt, the scale of a welt, and the fabric options beyond the expected sea of beige.

Upholstery is one of those categories where working with an interior designer can completely change the outcome. Not because we are simply selecting a sofa or chair, but because we are thinking through how that piece needs to live in your home.

Do you prefer a firmer seat, or something you can sink into at the end of the day?
Do you want a performance fabric that still feels elevated?

One thing we can pretty much promise:
Your home renovation *will* have an SOS moment.

Are you going to deal with it alone?

Home renovations have a lot of moving pieces – literally.
From tile to pendant lights to diverter valves (bet you don’t know what that is...), procurement is a big part of any home renovation. And our turnkey approach ensures that procurement doesn't become another thing to add to your plate.

When our client's first choice pendant lights were backordered, we had to think fast to find replacements in time for install day (and this photoshoot!). We leveraged some relationships with vendors, found these teardrop pendants that look like they were always meant to be in this wet bar, and drove to pick them up. All this, was on our to-do list. Not our client's.
