✨ When you rent, sometimes you need to make do with what is given.

This builder-grade wire pantry was upgraded with acrylic drawers and bins, and labels were custom designed for a luxury feel. It’s beautiful and functional, and my client couldn’t be happier!

ISO: I’ve got a collection of kids books I’ve gathered from clients. I’d love to donate to a new teacher or two as I know they will be spending a fair amount of their own money to set up their classrooms. There’s pre-school age books, chapter books and a few puzzles. Do you know of a college Senior who is graduating next month and looking to set up their future classroom? (Even if every book isn’t age appropriate for their particular classroom, they’re more than welcome to share them with their new teacher friends who can make use of them.)

Small Business Saturday is today!! It’s such an important day in our communities!! Ordering from a big box store or Amazon is easy. I get it… I order gifts there too, but look around at the small businesses right where you live and affects your local economy: favorite non-chain restaurants, bakeries, gift shops, local artisans and crafters … just to name a few. Perhaps they have a website or social media page to shop from/ship if you can’t go in person.

I appreciate every single person who stopped over for my annual open house earlier this month or shopped online, in addition to all of the homeowners who invite me in to decorate, design, reimagine and organize their spaces. I’m grateful for your loyalty and friendship… you make a difference to me and my family. ❤️

Happy local shopping over the next few days/weeks… we definitely don’t have to limit it to today!!

🌟 F R I D A Y F A V O R I T E S 🌟

This one became a fast Favorite in 2022 with all of ours trips to the NYC area to visit the kids.

Travel has become a bit more unpredictable over the last few years with increased demand, cancellations and delays, and the idea of checking luggage to be possibly lost or paying for carry-ons is a no-go for us when it’s a short trip. I ordered this backpack that fits under an airline seat, opens like a suitcase, and comes with cubes for organization. Seriously life-changing for organized travel.

I often wondered how people go backpacking to country after country for months at a time and only have a backpack. Ha, I’m not that savvy yet, but this handles 4-5 days at a time beautifully. ✈️

Forte Bank’s Shred Fest is coming up on Saturday, April 29th at the Hartford location. It’s a safe way to discard documents with sensitive information on it… anything with social security numbers, bank accounts, credit card statements, passwords and PIN numbers, pre-approved credit card offers, and more. Read on for details.

As your Organizer, getting rid of old paper documents safely will free up the necessary space for things you do need to store. I participate in this event annually and I’m beyond excited to get rid of the old documents taking up space in my office. It makes a big difference, so if you haven’t participated in an event like this, start digging out all of the things in your file cabinets or paper piles just waiting to be thrown away in a secure manner… a lot can fit into 2 boxes (per person).
