Light pollution is stealing our night sky. The good news? Choosing the right outdoor lighting can reduce glare, protect the environment, and let us enjoy the stars again.

Dark sky lighting is about creating safer, more comfortable outdoor spaces without wasting light into the night sky.

Fully shielded fixtures, downward light direction, and smart controls like timers or motion sensors help reduce glare, limit light pollution, and still provide the visibility needed for paths, landscapes, and architectural spaces.

Good outdoor lighting should help you see better, not brighten everything unnecessarily.

Are your outdoor lights designed to protect the night sky?

Lighting temperature does more than brighten a space, it shapes how that space feels.

Warmer tones can feel soft and inviting, while cooler tones create a cleaner, more modern look. The right choice can make a big difference in mood, comfort, and overall design impact.

Watch how different lighting temperatures transform the same space and see which one fits your style best.

Are you drawn to warm, neutral, or cool lighting? Let us know in the comments.

And just like that, LEDucation 2026 has come to a close.

Two days went by in a flash, but the experience left a lasting impression. These two days in New York were filled with energy, inspiration, and so many meaningful moments for our team. Being part of LEDucation once again gave us the opportunity to share our work in person, connect with the lighting community, and experience the excitement that makes this show so special every year.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our booth and spent time with us during the show. We’re also deeply grateful to the Bullard Collection team for all the care, effort, and dedication that went into preparing for this event and making it such a successful experience.

We’re proud to have been part of this year’s show, and grateful for everyone who made it memorable.
