Finished Work

Here we have some pictures of more of our finished work, teaming up with Tyler from &bconstruction. Tyler has been great to work with, and as you can tell he is also pretty talented. We placed Soapstone on the counters and even did a waterfall edge. Together we think this kitchen was beautifully constructed, and was also elegantly staged. Before and After - Episode 1

Happy Halloween!

Yesterday we spent time at the Carousel of Dreams with . We were able to bring our children to the event, enjoy some candy, trick or treating, and we were able to host face painting as well. Lots of little faces wanting designs for this celebration made it all worth it. We hope all of you have a fun and safe Halloween celebration this weekend.

There are many, many different types of edge profiles, here at Rock Hard Granite we primarily use four. Demi, Eased, Bevel and Chiseled. All of them have their beauty in their own way and really it all comes down to personal preference, and designs that are all around it. Such as cabinets, indoor or outdoor, color palettes and style preference. Eased is standard and there is no additional charge for this choice. With the other three prices may vary.

What is Quartz?
Quartz is made from crushed Quartz in various sizes,
mixed with pigments and resin. Quartz is less
susceptible to chipping and cracking than granite, but
is not impervious to that type of damage.
-Quartz requires very little maintenance since it
doesn't require sealing
-Manufactured in a wider range of colors and designs
-Prone to damage from heat exposure and from use of
abrasive cleaners
-Cannot be applied outdoors

Granite is mined in blocks and sliced into slabs. Varying gloss level, putting, fissures are all natural characteristics of granite and should be considered when choosing your individual slab.

-Truly unique and original slabs

-Granite is porous and is susceptible to staining
