This spring, we hosted herb workshops at Oakgrove Community Garden, and Broadrock Community Garden. We shared herbal knowledge over tea and snacks, and planted 12 different species of medicinal plants. We discussed how to cultivate resilience as a form of resistance to systems of oppression, and talked about how to have more agency over our bodies and health, by fostering relationships with plants. We are so grateful to everyone who showed up to learn and plant with us!

Trying to figure out how to dispose of those slowly shrinking pumpkins left over from Halloween? 🎃 Drop them off at 1710 Robin Hood Road and we'll compost them for you!

Not only will you be getting your decomposing pumpkins off your front steps, you'll also be helping the environment and contributing to our Richmond City compost Initiative. Your pumpkins will turn into rich, nutrient dense soil that will feed our community gardens and other locations around the city 🌱
