We are so grateful to serve this community.

Thank you neighbors for letting us build with you ❤️

Being stuck inside this week has a way of making things stand out 👀

If you could change one thing in your home right now, what would it be?

• Paint
• Accent wall
• Built-ins
• Countertops
• Something else entirely

No wrong answers, just curious what everyone’s been noticing.

I’ll drop mine in the comments

Anyone else suddenly noticing every little thing in their house after being stuck inside this week?

Funny how a few days indoors makes us see the scuff marks, the paint we meant to update, or that one wall that could use something extra.

Winter weather has a way of turning “maybe someday” into “okay… now I see it.”

If you’ve found yourself making a mental list, you’re not alone.

🥶 Snowmageddon Incoming PSA

Extreme cold can be tough on homes, especially newer construction.

As temperatures drop quickly, it’s common to see drywall movement, nail pops, or tape separation, particularly on exterior walls and around built-ins. Some homes may already be showing these signs if they’ve gone through significant temperature swings or settled quickly during their first year or two.

One factor is material density. Older homes were often framed with slower-grown, denser lumber. Today’s framing lumber is efficient and sustainable, but it can respond more noticeably to rapid changes in temperature and humidity.

What to know:
• Minor movement is normal
• Some areas may settle back on their own, others won’t
• Repeated cracking or peeling usually means repair is appropriate
• Proper repairs can be done during winter when addressed correctly

The key isn’t when a repair is done — it’s how. Taking the time to prep properly helps ensure repairs hold up through future seasons.

Painting is one of those things that looks simple… until it isn’t.

We’re often called in to fix rushed jobs, peeling finishes, uneven walls, or corners that were never prepped correctly.

We take our time on purpose. Proper prep, clean protection, and a finish that holds up, because the real cost isn’t the paint, it’s having to do it twice.

We treat every home with care, whether it’s one room or the whole house.

Looking to make a big impact without a full renovation?

Accent walls are one of our favorite ways to transform a space — whether it’s paint, trim detail, shiplap, or paneling.

They add character, depth, and personality to a room with a relatively small footprint.

If you’ve been thinking about updating a space, an accent wall might be the perfect place to start.

What most people don’t see 👀

Before a countertop is installed, a built-in goes up, a blank space transformed livable, or a room gets painted, there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work that matters just as much as the final result.

Accurate measurements. Clean prep. Proper materials. Taking the time to do it right. And we make it a family affair whenever possible!

That’s how we make sure our projects don’t just look good on day one — they hold up for years.

More behind-the-scenes coming soon ✨

A HUGE thank-you to Neighbors of Magnolia Green and Fox Creek magazine for featuring our family this month!

If you’ve landed here from the article — welcome 👋

Last year, we were BUSY doing what we love:
🪚 Installing countertops
🎨 Painting homes
📐 Building custom built-ins
✨ Transforming spaces room by room

So we didn’t post much on Facebook… because we were in your houses actually doing the work!

One of our goals this year is to share more progress pics, before-and-afters, tips, and behind-the-scenes from our projects.

We’re excited to bring you along. Stay tuned — some gorgeous installs are coming your way!

Just returned from a visit to our local lumber mill, where I hand-selected the finest kiln-dried lumber for a special project. There's nothing like the quality and beauty of locally sourced wood, and this batch is perfect for a custom countertop frame for one of our sweet clients. Check out these photos from the mill! 🪵✨
