Caulking with silicone is challenging to make it even and look good. I cleaned out all the old caulk around the sink and applied painters tape to isolated the joint to be caulked. Applied a bead of clear silicone with slight excess. Sprayed immediately with a foam glass cleaner and used tongue blade to remove excess. Then smoothed with gloved finger. The glass cleaner prevents the caulk from gumming up. I then let it dry overnight and removed the masking tape. Prep time is 90% of the job.
