We are deep underway with planning new episodes for this spring and summer! We have NO idea what we’re doing, but that didn’t stop us from dragging this dilapidated (hidden) beauty out of the woods. That means learning from our mistakes, figuring out a way to pay for it all with our furniture flipping, and hopefully winding up with a home to take with us on new adventures. Our 1946 Spartan trailer renovation has so many steps to get to that point, so follow along for updates and get caught up on the series over on our YT channel. ✌️

For anyone who ever thought, “I wonder what it would look like if I painted it?” GO FOR IT! Just make sure you mix enough paint. 🤣 I had no idea I’d love this plum color so much. I’m feeling all the speakeasy vibes in this tiny back room. May even add a secret door. We’re going to figure it out as we go along. Kyle is determined to put in a small sink, and I am thinking I may want to go metallic for the backsplash. It’s a bar; why not make it a little jewel? I need to go get the paint color matched, though, because I want a higher sheen on the upper cabinet for some high gloss contrast. Saved me some $ by mixing the wall color myself, though. We’re doing budget makeovers all year long, with zero plan and having fun. Join me to see how this turns out!

Snow day! It looks exactly how I always pictured it would. I’ve learned that I need better snow boots and pants, but we had some fun. Swipe to see some family moments (E, 5, was so proud the first time he successfully used the sled!) and a little drive around our neighborhood. Its charm is exactly why we moved here.
