Lmao! One of my favorite times of the day is when it's really early and I have time to talk to my fellow contractors that I sub work out to, and they aren't too busy to bu****it. I discover new musicians, we give each other honest opinions about things in our personal lives, we realize we are a rare breed and up and at it earlier than most. Some of us have new families blooming, some of us are watching our kids exit the house for adulthood, some of us are growing beyond the homes we called home, some of us are finding freedom in our later years to do what we never did for ourselves earlier because we were grinding it out, some of us are new and just learning the trades we specialize or will specialize in down the road, some of us are slowing down and passing on the secrets and skills, some of us are learning a whole new business model and adjusting to new roles. It's a lot! But we talk, we share, we commiserate, we are learning even in the dusk or dawn of our careers as tradesmen and women. There's a certain bond that sets us apart from everyone else. So if you ever think you don't understand your contractor or their ways of thinking. It's because you don't. But we as a group have got your backs. The good ones care. But the mornings and late evenings when we want to unwind...those times are for us....the tradesmen. This is how we start and finish our days. All so we can do what we love and provide you with a pride driven finished product. Keep that in mind.
