Three bar stools repaired. Brand new cane is lighter in color than the original piece, so I now offer staining, if desired, so that the color difference isn't so stark. Thank you to Mike and Sharon Greene for your business!

I've been caning chairs for over 20 years, and I still mess up seats every now and then. However, this was the first time I've had to rip out one of my own hand cane seats. I miscalculated and used cane that was too big. It was unfortunate, but I'd rather rip it out and do it over than send a project home with a customer that wasn't my best work. On the bright side, that seat was in there to stay, so that speaks well for the quality of my work!
