This is why it is important to hire a professional who is licensed by the Sate of California and is fully insured. As of January 2023 workers compensation is also required for employees with any Tree Service contractor. It is important to ask for license numbers and check at www.cslb.ca.gov to see if they have a State license and carry workers compensation. It has come to our attention people are telling customers they are licensed and insured when they are not. Ask for proof. Workers compensation has to be specifically for Tree Service. A city license only allows you to work on Trees or Palm Trees under 15 feet. If they get hurt on your property you’re liable. We carry workers compensation and liability insurance. CA LIC. #1084780.
