We like using ground contact rated pressure treated posts for a few reasons, mainly so we can build our fences custom on site based on the soil conditions and elevations of each homeowners backyard.

One extra step we like to take is applying an added layer of waterproof sealer to the area most likely to rot in order to get the maximum life out of the posts.

By installing bluestone in your main lounge area and transitioning to pea gravel or reclaimed brick for paths, you save big without sacrificing style.
