Winter is over and we are getting busy! This customer contacted us to fix the squeaks in her floor as well as a sand and refinish. We moved and stored all of their furniture out of the house to avoid dust. This floor was original to the home from the 70’S sitting under carpet waiting to be brought back to life. We did just that check out the transformation!

Fun Fact!! The first commercial belt sander for wood floor sanding was developed by Eugen Lägler in 1969 in Germany. Before this, floor sanding was primarily done with manual or drum sanders, which were much slower and more labor-intensive. Lägler's belt sander, nicknamed the "Hummel," revolutionized the process and is still widely used today.

This floor was original to the building, installed in 1956, before pneumatic nailers, so every board has a hand-driven nail every 9-12 inches.
