“You know something, Utivich? I think this just might be my masterpiece,"
The wife Jessie Louise Chapman and I wanted to consolidate most of the flock into one central location, instead of our 3 separate coops. So we bought a repo’d shed, (instant and cheaper than building one) got it delivered & I went to dreamland milling up some utility poles from work(rafters,ridge,purlins,top plate) bartered with a bud for the cedar logs(frame,doors,trim) hackberry(Door header) came from the ROW line clearing crew,ash(front face) & poplar(misc.) from the land; then went straight Larry Haun on it with a worm-drive saw, hammer & nails!
It's finally complete, and ready to be pooped on!
It was a nice escape from reality to work on this in my free time & probably the biggest reason it turned out so eggtravagant! I didn’t want it to end!
