On this project the old house was inefficent because it had no wall or attic insulation and some of the windows were single pane other windows had already been replaced. I replaced half of the windows, the old asbestos siding was remediated, all the wall cavities had dense pack insulation blown in and new pre-finished cement fiber board was installed with wood LP smart trim around the windows and corners. we also had to have the asbestos removed from the attic, fixed the outdated electrical up there and blew in new fiberglass insulation.

A new business opening in River Falls. main level is a lawyers office and the upper level (these photos) is a two bedroom rental. Owner provided the drywall. His father helped me get the 12 foot sheets on the lift for the ceiling and the upper wall sheets. the main level had 9' walls so 54" by 12' sheets were required. the upper level had multiple roof angles to contend with.

the owners on this project wanted more insulating value from there exterior walls. I replaced all the doors and windows replaced all of the siding, installed a layer of 1" rigid foam (R-5) to the exterior then wrapped the house with a weather barrier. The siding was wood LP smartside with a pre-finished color and white LP trim
