If you find yourself awestruck beneath the , here are a couple ProTips to capture the night sky with your GoPro. First, you’ll need stability. For this shot, I used the El Grande Mount on a tripod.

It’s often cold while watching the Northern Lights, so keep your batteries warm and bring extras or a portable power source. As with all lithium-ion batteries, the temperature will drain them quickly!

Here were my settings on : Night Lapse Photo Mode, 20s Shutter, WB 5500k, ISO 800, Sharpness Low, and GoPro Color.

These will also work for Black.
