I read today that these ole Homelite Super Ez,s are considered vintage. I sat and thought ! Wow ! These are the saws that I started climbing trees with 41 years ago in June , and I still climb trees today. Been blessed by “ God” to still do what I love, I guess I’m considered a VINTAGE ARBORIST :)

395 just falling through that red oak. Bout time to hit that chain a lick or two. Don’t ever let your chain get dull. It’s always easier just to keep it touched up .

I’m just saying 80 percent of the storm damage jobs we have done since January have been conifer trees ( white pine , yellow pine , hemlock etc etc . Kinda tells us something, but I’ve known for years . A good pine around your home or business, is a gone pine .

Here at Wicks Tree Service , Of Course we all work to make a living for our family, but for us at Wicks Tree Service , it’s a lot more than that. Me and Ricky are both from Roane County . Our customers are people we have known for yrs ,and friends . We meet a lot of new customers that have became friends also. Anne Horner is one of my customers for about 36 yrs or longer . Not only that , Anne was my middle school teacher , and as far as my family , and Ricky . Anne is one of the best people we have ever known.
Anne has touched and influenced so many lives in Roane County. Thank you Anne Horner , just for being you.

Truck arrives tomorrow !!! Hard to believe I started out , working out of a pick up truck many yrs ago. Lord has blessed me . Allowing good health and giving me the drive to keep pushing forward . It hasn’t been easy . The struggle was real. I wouldn’t change a thing . I’ve got the greatest friends / customers a man could ask for . I love my job .

I hit that time clock for the last time. Think it’s the first time in my life . I have ever felt two emotions at the same time . Happy/Sad . I’m gonna miss all my co workers at HUB .

They fixed a big dinner for me today and it was much appreciated. Special thanks Keatons mother for the cake that looked like a stump.

Thanks to Randy and his wife ,for the Orange cake .
