This homeowner wanted to rejuvenate the aged and tired looking retaining wall and landscaping, while creating a functional connection between the upper deck and walkout basement patio and hot tub area. The design and construction was truly a team effort with some combined 45-50 tons of materials coming and going, and involved the masterful masonry skills of Christian Wernig.

What can I say about our amazing crew! They excavated, installed and prepared 47 tons of base aggregates in 4 days, then laid 15 tons (1,100 square feet) of pavers in just 6 hours today in 94 degree heat! I have nothing but love, respect and thanks for the hard work of Christian Wernig, Sawyer Wernig and Robert Borszich!

We’re both honored and thrilled to be adding a third patio to our previous two, alongside the new Honah Lee Vineyard tasting room expansion! We think it turned out beautifully, thanks to the very meticulous and talented masonry skills of Christian Wernig, of Christian Wernig Rustic Woodwork!
