IT’S CRUNCH TIME!! Map is out, signs are up everywhere- the phenomenon known as The Purple Painted Lady Festival is just 18 days away!! I’m in my usual spot -green 21- under the trees, next to the house ❤️ … new this year to the festival is a dear friend, Keri & all of her magical, witchy goodness known as Seek-a-Kreations - she will be right across from me in green 25!! NEW THIS WEEK 8/27 - an antique mirror (so solid!!) done up in a celestial motif - has gold leafed sun,moon & stars! Backing of mirror is stamped & dated- yes it’s 1912!! Mirror is in GREAT shape!! The finish on the wood was lacking, so it’s been painted black. Info on mirror attached to the back. ALSO- 2 seasonal trees with handmade ornaments! One is set in a vintage teapot!! Add your own fairy lights, if you choose 😉

NEW THIS WEEK 8/20 - a very pretty vintage, frosted vase! I’m in love with color & with a string of lights inside it just GLOWS! A new lamp - my version of “neutral” - black metal base, bronze shade & just a bit of beads & fringe! I still have A LOT of red-tagged pieces, as I’m working hard on my Purple Painted Lady Festival items - only 1 month away! LOTS of new, small furniture headed there!!

IT’S DONE & IT’S SOLD!!
Before the tile was even on, a friend reached out that she wanted it, had a spot for it & plans on how to fill it … the perfect trifecta for furniture! ❤️ so, I’m sorry it won’t make it to The Shops after all, it’ll be going straight to its new home.
Everyone has been so positive about the transformation that I really wanted to share the “AFTER” pics (plus a couple of the “befores”, so we can all appreciate the potential an old, abandoned cabinet can have)
I’m as passionate about rescued furniture as I am about rescued pets - so many pre-loved treasures to be found!
This was a labor of love & one of my favorite things I’ve up-cycled! I know it will be loved 😊
