It’s ✨ ! ✨
School is back in session, routines are back in full swing, and suddenly the spaces that keep a household organized are working overtime.
So naturally, we’re talking pantries.
Before the remodel, these two spaces were doing what a lot of spaces like this eventually do: holding a little bit of everything. The desk had become more of a drop zone than a workspace, and the pantry had plenty of shelving, but not necessarily the kind of storage that made it easy to keep everything organized.
There was good space here. We just wanted to make better use of it.
We replaced the open shelving with floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, giving our clients a lot more concealed storage for pantry staples, small appliances, paper products and all the everyday things you need somewhere to put.
The old desk area got a new purpose, too. We turned it into a dry bar with custom cabinetry, glass shelving and a dark backsplash, creating a spot that feels connected to the kitchen but has a job of its own.
We didn’t add any square footage here. We just took what was already there and made it work better for the way this family actually lives.
Especially this time of year, when schedules get busy and keeping a house organized somehow gets a little harder, good storage goes a long way.🏡✨
