The hardest job of my life is officially done! This job needed all of me and then some! Truly tested my grit and mental fortitude. At times it was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Some would say I bit off more than I could chew, I would say it just took a lot longer to chew than I thought lol

4 months to finish but it was all new to me + most of the time onsite, it was only me and one other guy, sometimes we had a 3rd

Worked day in and day out no matter the weather to get this project done for the client, 95 degree weeks to freezing rain and snow. We endured it all

Heres the numbers

80,000 lbs of retaining wall block and caps
420,000 lbs of stone back fill
320,000 lbs of mixed back fill
1500 sqft of artificial turf ( roughly 2500lbs)
2000lbs of infill for turf
120 bags of 80lb concrete
150 linear ft of 6 ft tall chain link fence
Swing set with 2 adult swings and one toddler swing
1 playground

And oh yeah because of site issues and tight parameters 9 of the 18 dump trucks were spread with shovel and wheel barrow

And yes I would do it all again because we learned alot and are all about new challenges!!

Update on my dad’s house, first load of lumber has arrived plus the steel beams. Unfortunately there was a miss communication when measuring the longest beam and it came in 4.5in to big lol so we are at a little pause until they come and cut the beam in the upcoming week. Stay tuned
