Anyone else using their snow day/MLK holiday to peruse seed catalogs? 🤔 It’s definitely that time of year again and I don’t know about you, but I’m getting excited for seed starting! 🌱🌱🌱

Did I miss your favorite company? Let me know in the comments if you know of another seed company I should check out! I’m still waiting on my Sow True Seeds and Southern Exposure Seed Exchange catalogs to arrive — those are two of my favorites that I look forward to every year ☺️

📣👂Sound on to hear the loudest goat in the neighborhood👂📣

Iggy really likes to make sure you know he knows you’re coming to feed him 🐐 He’s the white & black loud one 😆

I took this video on the way to the morning feeding so y’all could also enjoy the greeting I get when I approach the goat pen with a bucket of feed 🥰

Iggy and Jasper (his brother who is black and his size) are mini-fainters and the other three are Ruby (tiny one), Jet (small black one), and Smoky (brown/black handsome fella) and they are Nigerian dwarves. All of them are almost 12 weeks old 💖

Ag + Art Tour of York County West is just a couple of days away, we’re so excited to be visiting Sharon Hill Farm on Saturday and see all the other vendors and artisans! Come see us (and apparently a painting pig!!!) there from 10 am to 4 pm!

Did you know that besides growing plants, I also make microcrochet jewelry? I work on these projects when it’s too hot or too cold outside to be in the garden 😁

This year I’m bringing both to Ag + Art York County West at Sharon Hill Farm - stop by between 10 am and 4 pm on Saturday June 12th and see the farm, our plants, and the tiniest crochet you’ve probably ever seen 🥰 Hope to see you there!

🪴 Plants that fit in any amount of garden space 🪴

One thing I hear from people who love plants but deny themselves the joy and satisfaction of vegetable gardening is “But I don’t have enough space for a vegetable garden.”

Vegetable gardening is achievable on any amount of square footage. It doesn’t even need to be outdoors.

There’s a gardening adage that goes “Right plant, right place,” meaning that plants are happiest when the place they are planted gives them their ideal growing conditions. The good news is that there are so many different varieties of plants available to us that there’s almost certainly a plant that fits your conditions.

This tiny Red Robin tomato in the photos is ideal for anyone who only has a balcony or even just one south-facing window. We have several Red Robins and several Micro Toms available at the Farmers Market tomorrow and every Saturday morning from 8 - 12 at 🪴

If you have always wanted to grow tomatoes but you live in an apartment ➡️ this is your tomato plant!!
