Are you on city water? If your house was built in South Carolina in the early 2,000’s or later, you most likely have a closed plumbing system which means you should have an expansion tank. Simply check your water heater for a tank about the size of a watermelon. These expansion tanks can also be found near your pressure reducing valve and your water main shut off in places like your garage or utility room.
