Trying the winter sowing method for the first time this season!
To winter sow you plant seeds in soil inside a clear plastic milk jug (or similar container), set it outside in winter, and let nature handle the timing. The jug acts like a small greenhouse — protecting seeds from heavy rain, animals, and extreme freeze/thaw cycles while still exposing them to natural cold. This helps with seeds that need cold stratification.
