The Luxe Tasting is a one-of-a-kind tasting experience featuring 4oz of each – A5 Japanese Wagyu Strip, Filet Mignon, and a Dry-Aged Delmonico. Read below for a few facts about each steak. 🥩
▪️A5 Japanese Wagyu Strip - The letter in A5 stands for the yield grade, which indicates how much meat could be taken from the carcass compared to normal; 'A' being the highest. The number in the A5 stands for the meat quality; Grade 5 being the highest.
Beef Marbling Standard (BMS) that is between 8 and 12 is considered a category 5. Most of our Wagyu rates above 10 on the marbling score.
▪️Filet Mignon - Filet mignon is a cut of meat taken from the smaller end of the tenderloin. It is a popular choice because it's tender, it's juicy, and it's relatively lean.
▪️Dry-Aged Delmonico - A big steak, high quality beef and well marbled!
