What's going on at The Willow? We are revamping so much! When we started the bake stand several years ago, it was the first. We grew out of the first kitchen, added a second and now have grown out of it. We never expected the volume of desserts we would be selling. The nursery also has been a lot of fun and work. We are coming back and doing some planning that we are keeping private for good reason but can't wait to see y'all again. We appreciate each and every one of you that have made it so that we can continue to grow. This is so much more than a business journey. It's a community journey and we want to continue to grow that more than anything ❤️ We love y'all and appreciate you!

My mind, refinishing French/English wood furniture, bistro tables, creating flower arrangements, gardens, micro weddings and garden parties with the finest tea sandwiches, and desserts...another part of my mind, missing Willow friends and craving ice cream. Projects...sometimes you need to just step back in all the chaos and let your mind, heart, and hands heal your soul. God is so good like that. So many times "influencers" are giving opinions on what they like, what they don't like, trends being shared, what's in, what's out, and so much more. What matters is what brings you peace and so many are searching for that in all the wrong places. God gives you different desires and abilities that you only hold. He wants " you", not what anyone else thinks of you or holds you to. He simply desires you to desire him in the most humbling way only his child can. Put it all down, the what ifs, the doubts, the sorrows, the hurt, the anger, the "am I enough"? In him you are exactly who He created you to be. Just tune everything out to spend time with Him and He will guide you to your mood/purpose board, your unique , wonderfully made being that is always exactly who He created you to be. Share it and thank him for it. Peace can only be found in Him, in you. Go do what He created you to do and drown at all the noise with the contentment only He can give. I hope you all remember what brings you joy, so that you are not imitating something that He didn't create for you. You are beautiful, authentic, unique and equipped when you follow him❤️ I just needed to get into the planting, painting and maybe baking soon. My soul rejoices in a life with him. We love you!

Take care of yourself. Be careful about overextending yourself with your heart(emotions) instead of your mind . Lean on God and do the best you can. Some people do not want to be rescued. I thank God for my family. Remember to put God and yours first. Overextending yourself can cause you to not be available to be there for yourself and them.

Hey, it's really not too late! Happy Mother's Day Weekend to all of you moms out there. If you haven't had time to grab a gift you can run to a grocery store or Walmart. I grabbed a basket in Walmart after getting bagels, a drink and all the toppings🍓🥛🥯💐 I found an already cut , yard of Waverly fabric in the craft section to line the basket. I went with a pink strawberry theme. Then, grabbing a vase and cutting flowers & greenery from our yard because that's more my mom's style(cottage/garden). I couldn't think of something my mom needed and decided to go with this because I know she can enjoy it. I know there are strained relationships in this day and time and many people are hurting from losses. My heart goes out to you. I am so thankful God blesses us more than we deserve by creating a unit that He desires to be beautiful for us all. I thank him for his creation and love the chance to celebrate my mother and the gift of being a mom. I hope you all have an amazing Mother's Day. I know I will. Oh, how we miss you. I have always loved taking pictures after the rain and immediately thought of you all because I always shared them in our open season. Today, you are on my heart, and I had to share. We have taken a few trips and have enjoyed this season, but I miss baking... a lot. I miss flowers and all the pretties, but I have been inspired with just a couple of trips! This season is different and slower-paced for me, but I have so enjoyed the time with Scott and Christian, and visiting different places. We all miss you. Sometimes, God wants to speak, but we are so hurried in our pace that we become complacent. We all need to take the time we need to listen. It may be a day, or it may be a month, but that time is priceless and helps replenish our love for Him and each other. Leviticus 26:4 I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops, and the trees their fruit. It's a divine blessing and provision as a direct result of our covenant to Him. I never want to put anything above Him, but I have given my attention to so many other things first. I love this time to grow and come back renewed. Every day, we are blessed with that chance.
