Grilling and patio season is upon us! 🙌
ANOTHER MILESTONE AHEAD: Not too long ago, we celebrated the return of post-5:00pm sunsets in the Stateline. Tomorrow, we will commemorate our first pre-7:00am sunrise since before Thanksgiving!!!
It's the latest in a series of milestones to check off the list as our days get rapidly longer. Two weeks from tomorrow, we'll have over 11 hours of daylight, not surprising as we're gaining between 2 minutes, 30 seconds and 4 minutes, 45 seconds of daylight each and every day!
Not only are our days growing longer, the sun's higher in the sky, and it's getting stronger! In fact, the sunlight we receive today is more than 56% more intense than the sunlight we received on winter's first day. Simply put, that's why huge arctic blasts become harder and harder to come by this time of year, and why we see milder days become increasingly common the deeper we get into February.
To be clear, winter's nowhere near finished! There still WILL be cold and snowy days. This, post, simply put, is just a little Monday pick-me-up!
