All of us at Blakemore Construction know roadway visibility is especially important after dark.

While it may look like lane markings glow at night, the real reason they appear bright is because of thousands of tiny glass beads embedded in the paint. Those beads reflect vehicle headlights back toward drivers, helping improve visibility and roadway safety. , ,

Progress is Rolling at Arcadia in Varina.

Blakemore has completed the first course of paving for Phase 1 of the Arcadia neighborhood development for Mungo Homes. Our crews also completed profiling work, added new turning and merging lanes, and installed fresh striping along Wilson Rd. near the entrance to the community.

We’re scheduled to return in June to complete the remaining base asphalt work for Phase 2 as the development continues to take shape.

The new model home is nearly ready for showings, and it’s exciting to see the project continue coming together step by step. , ,
