When I came to the realization that traditional school was stealing my kids' joy and creating anxieties over things they once enjoyed, we decided to make a change. We started homeschooling, and we haven't looked back since!!!

Cheers to the 25-26 school year!!!
May our kids continue to grow in their faith and love of learning, not for a grade but to become well-rounded, resilient, confident, and kind humans. Amen.

We didn't want a rooster.
When we got this batch of chickens, they were all supposed to be pullets according to ts. But God had different plans. We realized pretty early on that "one of these chicks is not like the others."
Fast forward, and he has become one of our favorites! He's handsome, protective, calm, and sweet (so far 🤞). I love his morning crow... his mid day crow... and his evening crow... he hasn't quit figured that part out yet, lol.
And who knows, maybe we'll eventually start hatching our own chicks and add one more thing to our long list of things to take care of and worry about 🤪

We got these girls and roo in their new house yesterday, just in time! They should start laying any day now... stay tune...

"Our Family is a circle of strength, founded by faith, joined by love, and kept by God."

One thing I've learned in the last couple of years is that my husband and I have to trust God, each other, and our children when it comes to making decisions for our family.
Not this world.
Not doctors.
Not schools.
Not teachers.
Not the government.
Not friends.
Not extended family.
God has entrusted us with these children and our family because He knew we needed each other, and we will continue to trust and honor Him as we navigate this life together.
