Saving one of our favorite details for the final day of our countdown: the laundry room sink. 🧼

We paired a classic American Standard Country Vitreous China Sink with a timeless Randolph Morris Wall-Mount Utility Faucet. To elevate the look, we bumped the sink out just a bit in front of the cabinet. This subtle detail creates a small ledge behind it for everyday essentials and small treasures.

Beautiful, functional, and built to stand the test of time. We hope it gets years of use!

When the homeowners brought us these gorgeous F. C. Linde Eastlake cast bronze pocket door pulls, we knew they were going to be a showstopper.

We were able to get them perfectly flush-set into the primary closet pocket door, and the result is seamless. Like all the other thoughtful details in this project, these pulls look like they’ve always been there—effortlessly bridging the gap between new construction and historic charm.

Special thanks to Architectural Antiques in Minneapolis for having such incredible, one-of-a-kind treasures. They truly make this new space look beautifully old.

Because authentic character matters in a historic home, these paint-grade cabinets fromTwin Cities Closet Company have a custom finish from Brush Masters, Inc. They were finished with a hand brush topcoat, leaving behind those subtle, classic brushstrokes that give the cabinetry a lived-in, soulful feel.

Every corner of the addition has a story to tell—even the primary closet. 🌿

We are absolutely stunning by the design choices in this space. The backdrop features the lovely “Vine Blots” wallpaper by Franquemont in Apple & Sand, providing a fresh, lively contrast to the custom insert installed by Twin Cities Closet Company in the warm color called “Casting at First Light.”

To keep the historic spirit alive, the cabinetry is outfitted with Clear Octagonal Glass Bridge Handles from House of Antique Hardware. Thoughtful details, incredible partners, and a vision brought to life.

For the addition, consistency was key. These brass backplates were supplied by Milow Electric to ensure the new electrical felt right at home alongside the original features.

The finishing touch? Pearl push-button switches selected by the homeowners that add a touch of iridescent luxury to every wall. We love seeing our partners and clients collaborate to bring a specific vision to life!

New space, timeless soul.

As we count down to the reveal of , we have to pause and appreciate the details that bridge the gap between old and new. Case in point: the primary vanity cabinet hardware.

These Geometric Eastlake Nickel-Plated Pulls were beautifully sourced by the owners from Architectural Antiques in Minneapolis. Integrating authentic, historic elements into a custom build allows us to create spaces that feel rich with story from day one.

Countdown to Habibi House: The Kids’ Bath ✨

We believe utility spaces should still have a little magic. For this bathroom, the goal was to create a space that feels elevated yet perfectly playful for the kids.

Enter these incredible Zia Tile. The Milk 1" x 1" mosaic is brought to life with hand-laid, sporadic colored tiles that create the sweetest, whimsical flowers. To balance the playful patterns with some timeless elegance, we paired them with a striking Golden Calacatta stone from for the shower’s half wall and curb.

It’s all in the details, and this sweet space has stolen our hearts! Stay tuned as we continue the countdown to the final reveal.

When we say no detail was too small for this project, we truly mean it. Because we were working with a historic 1905 home, our goal wasn't just to make the new space look beautiful—it was to make it feel like it was always there.

These Ornate Window Sash Lifts were the perfect choice to give our brand-new windows an authentic, original feel. From the big layout changes to the tiniest hardware selections, absolutely nothing was overlooked in this transformation.
