Winterton Painting II, Inc. We are a Commercial, Residential and Industrial Painting Company located in Central NY, with over 35 No job is to big or to small.

We are a Fully Insured and established company, qualified in all aspects of Painting. Our employees have years of experience in all area's of Painting; Interior & Exterior, Staining (Semi-Transparent or Solid Base), Oil Finishes, Epoxy Finishes, Latex Finishes. Stenciling, Floor Painting, Drywall Finishing, and Commercial and Residential Wallpapering. We are long term members of the PDCA, Mohawk Valley Builders Exchange and Rome Chamber of Commerce.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Commercial painting experience with 18” roller and strict deadlines preferred.
• Apply paint to surfaces including dry wall, walls, floors, doors, and cabinets.
• Scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting.
• Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection.
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.
• Apply several coats according to paint directions.
• Tape off areas when needed.
• Apply touchups or second coats.
• Remove paint splatters when finished.
• Operates, cleans, and maintains all painting equipment including brush, roll, sprayers, etc.
• Work on ladders or scaffolding to reach high ceilings or walls.
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Driver’s License preferred
• One year as a painter in a residential and a commercial, industrial operations setting, both interior and exterior.
• 10 hour OSHA safety class completed

• Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.
• Prepares work to be processed by reviewing work requests; resolving questions; prioritizing projects.
• Remove fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, lamps, and electric switch covers prior to painting.
• Apply several coats according to paint directions.
• Tape off areas when needed.
• Apply touchups or second coats.
• Remove paint splatters when finished.
• Operates, cleans, and maintains all painting equipment including brush, roll, sprayers, etc.
