The Potting Shed is a small privately owned garden shop in Ronceverte, West Virginia. Not only do we sell plants from local greenhouses we sell outdoor furniture, soils, plant containers, unique home decor, small batch natural lotions, body scrubs, linen sprays, soy candles and much more. Local honey and local food products from our chef are also available each week. We look forward to your visit

and appreciate the opportunity to serve you! Traveling down the hill into Ronceverte, WV. The Potting Shed is on the right about 3/4 of the way down the hill. If you miss the turn in, continue to the bottom of the hill and return. There are 2 entrances.

this is a great time for planting.! We have a few tomato, pepper and cucumber plants left. There are a few herbs - chives, sage, rosemary, etc left as well as seeds beans, corn, pumpkin, radish and other basics. Adding a few inside pictures.

We are all hopeful that we can move forward with planting outside! The last frost date projected was May 10 for our local area. We have plants ready for your landscape as well as for your containers. So drop by to check them out. The last begonias are now big enough to share in orange, white and red. Many of the perennials are now blooming.. Sooo, drop by and visit with us.

Remember it is the week of Mother's Day. We have a courtyard full of hanging baskets, gift planters, bedding plants as well as perennials. There are some new planters in the Shop as well. Our beautiful perennials have arrived. Several unique varieties were chosen this year to keep pollinators happy! You must drop by to check out the many types of hydrangea - some are beginning to bloom. We have also filled the shop with more pots - all shapes and sizes. Hanging Baskets - we are going to hold on bringing out new tender plants. We will bring more out next week. Fresh out of the greenhouse will not do well with this cold front. coming through. They will be ready and performing their best for your gifts on Mother's Day or for yourself. Thank you for your support and we will see you soon!

It is amazing to have the little greenhouse at the Shop. Tucking everything inside the last two nights was much better than the old process of bringing everything back to the farm. Yahoooo.

We will bring more plants to the Shop tomorrow so stay tuned for pictures. Meanwhile, here are some pictures of what is going on inside. We are going to open on Wednesdays the next few weeks this spring. Hours on Wednesday are 9:00am - 5:00pm.

We brought some plants from the greenhouse down to the Shop last night. Some are just ready ..... and the weather is tooo inviting not to share, now !!! Alot of herbs are now at the Shop. The SunPatiens, Geraniums, Begonias and many Coleus types.

We brought several hanging baskets, They are healthy, full and ready to begin their journey with you. These pictures are from last night. I will get some daylight pictures today to share. Thanks so much --- stop by to see us if you are out and about.

THANK YOU for a great season opening weekend! It was great to see all of you. As you could see, we have added a greenhouse to the Shop. With that being said, we are still doing a bit of work on the courtyard and the fence as we ready ourselves for the plants. T

The grow greenhouse is really doing well. Plants continue to thrive. If all goes as planned you should see a few plants at the Shop next week. Sooo exciting! The copper yard pieces (stakes, wall, hanging, spinning) were added to the Shop for this week. The mushrooms are also out. Some pictures below.
