This contemporary rustic pool house blends traditional craftsmanship with modern openness, creating a serene retreat within a lush, wooded landscape. Its cedar shingle siding and roofing weather naturally over time, lending warmth and texture that harmonize with the surrounding trees. Barn-style sliding doors open wide across both the front and rear elevations, fostering a seamless connection between indoor comfort and the outdoors, while also allowing privacy when desired.
The spacious deck, constructed in the same muted timber tones, wraps around the structure and provides multiple lounging zones. Inside, an open-air lounge offers relaxed comfort, while a discreet bathroom is paired with an adjacent outdoor shower, perfect for a post-swim rinse.
The overall effect is a retreat that feels both refined and refreshingly informal — a place equally suited for quiet solitude or leisurely gatherings with friends.

The before and after transformation of this home in East Hampton by our team at Enspire Design Group reflects a shift from unassuming ranch-style to sophisticated coastal luxury. The initial home featured single-story horizontal lines, small windows, and plain siding. Our renovation introduced striking gables, dormers, expansive glazing, elegant trim, and a balanced symmetry, culminating in a light-filled, shingle-style residence with high-end finishes and resort-like amenities.
