Metal Mart began in 1985 with a single store near Austin, Texas as a “retail factory outlet” for metal building materials supplied by our parent company which began in the industry in 1963. Since our humble beginnings, we have grown to our current 41 locations in 6 states. Our growth has been driven by our customer’s demand for the materials that we supply, and for that we are truly grateful. We t

ake satisfaction in taking an active role in our customer’s construction projects and enjoy watching their plans come to reality. Our stores are staffed with individuals that like you, our customer, enjoy and appreciate the value of using metal for their construction projects. We offer free material price quotes and are more than happy to provide you with the technical assistance you need to get the job done right. We stock a large variety of steel products for projects large or small. If there is an item we do not stock, we receive deliveries weekly for special order items. We have panel shears in all of our locations should you need your panels cut to a length other than a stock length. Many of our stores now offer custom in-house trim manufacturing. This allows us to supply our customers with any color or shape of trim or flashing with a very short lead time. We have the latest state-of-the-art electronic trim equipment in some stores, while others continue to use manual fabrication equipment.
