Plumbing Doctor LLC is a small family owned & operated plumbing service founded in 1987 by Mike and Louise Leis. We serve the Wichita, KS metropolitan area including western Butler County, Eastern Sedgwick County, and Northern Cowley County. We provide residential repair and new construction plumbing services including faucet, toilet, water heater, well pump, sewer, septic, gas, and water piping i

nstallation, service and repair. We also provide minor contracting and electrical service and repair within Butler County. We believe in the value of customer service. We promise to never grow beyond our ability to provide top quality customer service. For us that begins with honesty and ends with providing the highest possible quality yet affordable workmanship. Who we are:

Mike Leis, previous owner, had over 40 years experience in the plumbing and construction industry. Mike retired from active service in 2020 due to health issues and unfortunately passed away in December 2021. He will always be remembered, loved, and a part of Plumbing Doctor. Louise Leis, owner, has been with Plumbing Doctor since the beginning, and serves as the office manager. Louise received a degree in bookkeeping and accounting from the Professional Career Development Institute in 1999. Chris Gray, Mike's brother-in-law, has over 20 years experience in the plumbing industry. Chris is a licensed Journeyman Plumber. Kevin Leis, Mike's son, has over 20 years experience working as a plumber in both part time and full time capacities, not to mention all the years as a boy tagging along with Dad. Kevin is also a licensed Master Plumber, and Journeyman Electrician. Upon Mike’s retirement Kevin took over management of day to day operations and is currently Plumbing Doctor’s only full-time plumber. Kevin also serves as the IT Coordinator for us. Shelly Long, Mike's daughter, serves as the administrative assistant in charge of accounts receivable. Shelly has been with us for over 10 years. Stew Firebaugh, Family friend (Kevin's long lost brother. j/k), has over 7 years experience in the plumbing industry and is a licensed journeyman plumber. Braden Geer, Family friend, has been with Plumbing Doctor since high school, over 5 years ago starting as a plumbing apprentice. Braden became a licensed journeyman plumber in 2021.
