Our Cemani chicks are a full 5 months old! They’ve lost all their baby fuzz and have entered the “ugly duckling” phase. They’re already looking so high quality with their sleek gaminess. However, our weird little recessive baby is starting to look like a “she” and her future is undetermined. She is not fit to breed for Cemani’s but she might make a beautiful fibro project🤔🖤

We will have lots of baby runner ducks ready for green grasses in about a month!🤞🏼🦆

These eggs have been incubating for 6 days. Chicken eggs take about 21 days. The first egg shows zero development and is not fertile. The others have an embryo! I’ve been waiting for this hatch for a whole year🤞🏼🖤

Life is so busy and yet so slow at the same time. It never fails that we get at least one goose who starts laying in the early winter. I found this bad boy Christmas Day😂 we’re also almost exactly a month away from sending our hogs to camp Kenmore for the first time. We definitely learned A LOT.
