It's that time of year again!
We're back and so excited to kick off this season with cool weather veggies, pansies, rhodies, azaleas & more!

For this first part of Spring, we are in the same location as last year, on Stewart Parkway, behind the Dutch Bros. As many of you know, we purchased the property on Broad St. It's soon to be our permanent location, and we'll be moving in later this Spring!

Looking forward to seeing friendly & familiar faces soon! Happy Spring 🌷

~The Beautiful Chrysanthemum~
A symbol of friendship, optimism, longevity and abundance.
The Chinese began cultivating this versatile flower around 3000 years ago, brewing it into rejuvenating teas and offering it up as a cure-all...used for everything from a common cold to an elixir of immortality.
Known as the 'Queen of Fall Flowers', these jewel toned charmers come in a rainbow of colors and shapes. There are over 30,000 known varieties. Mums are edible and medicinal. They naturally repel pests and are one of the longest lasting cut flowers.
Chrysanthemums are a gem among late blooming perennials due to their resilience, diversity and rich cultural history, and deserve a special place in everyone's garden.

With Fall rains finally on the way, now is the best time to make changes to your landscape.
The following is an excerpt from an article published by UC Davis, The Plant Warehouse owner's Alma Mater, and the UC Davis Arboretum & Public Gardens.

'5 Reasons Why Fall is the Best Time to Plant'

'Autumn, with its shorter days and cooler temperatures, is the best time of year for new planting whether you are renovating a lawn area or adding new plants to a mature landscape. Plant establishment is much easier now and here are five reasons why:

Less water use – Thanks to recent rains the soil moisture can be kept constant with less irrigation.
Softer soil – The soil is softer now so it’s easier to dig holes!
Fewer weeds – Unwanted plant life is less prolific thanks to less sun and cooler temperatures.
Less stress – Cooler temperatures also are less stressful to new plants.
Hearty roots – When the air temperature is cooler than the soil temperature, plants put more energy into root growth without new top growth, which results in heartier root systems and stronger plants overall.'
