Boozhoo waabigwan friends! 🌸
We’ve gained some new faces here lately, so I figured it was time to re-introduce myself.
I’m Alexandria- the owner and grower behind Waabigwan Flower Farm 💐
I’m a small flower farmer, graphic designer, artist, and photographer based in central Michigan, and I’m a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. This is officially my second year growing flowers for sale, and honestly, I’m still learning something new every single day.
At Waabigwan Farm, I grow seasonal flowers for flower buckets, market bouquets, custom orders, and special arrangements- all with a garden-inspired, whimsical feel.
“Waabigwan” means “flower” in Anishinaabemowin, and choosing that name was really important to me. I wanted this farm to feel connected to nature, creativity, culture, and community. Even my logo was designed to reflect that meaning.
When I’m not out in the field/garden, you’ll usually find me designing, creating art, watching horror movies, cooking, spending time with family or chasing too many ideas at once 😂
Thank you so much for being here and supporting this little backyard dream of mine.
Miigwetch! (Thank you)
