On an early but mid-Summer morning, Emerald Tree Care, LLC team member, Anthony Santisi asked to meet with owners Daniel M Miraval Brianna White.
Anthony had grown into a core foundational cornerstone of our team "the super seven".
The news he had to share was about an incredible opportunity that came to him after recently getting married! It was an opportunity that would take him somewhere beyond Emerald Tree Care but not beyond the tree care industry. Anthony announced he and his new bride were moving to Asheville, North Carolina also home to the Biltmore !
Ownerships immediate question was what will you be doing about this profession of Arboriculture that you are talented in and has found its way into your soul? Where will you go, where your servant leadership and skill set will be recognized. Landing someplace that is worthy of having you on their team requires consideration!
A component of Emerald Tree Care's company culture is an understanding that this is how life works sometimes and to look for great reasons. that cutivate something positive in an outcome.
Anthony i expressed his desire was to apply for a position as an Arborist at "The Biltmore". Emerald Tree Care is committed to supporting educational opportunities for it's staffs professional development. Company ownership is duty driven by our commitment to our industry and those serving in it to have professional tools such as educational based credentials specific to tree care be a standard right for our staff. The collective desire is that those serving at Emerald Tree Care have found fulfillment in the exposure to urban forestry through their time at Emerald Tree Care that moving literally and staying in our industry is the win-win.
After learning that Anthony would benefit from having the Tree Care Industry Association CTSP credential to secure this new position. When he stated that was a limitation we said "get it scheduled, get it done and let the hiring manager on the other be rest assured in acquiring this valuable industry credential pertaining to safety in arboriculture a core value at emerald Tree Care.
Anthony took massive action, achieved the goal, conquered his mission and secured his new position ๐ช๐พ. The entire team was so proud to have had the opportunity of working with him they expressed sorrow in his leaving. The team was reminded that Anthony was a teacher, trainer and amazing talented, passionate arborist who has now transitioned into the role of colleague and mentor to some. Anthony is marking his impression in professional tree care and this is his introduction to his story.
Rare is the employer who does everything he or she can to help an employee secure their next job. But that was the case with Daniel Miraval, BCMA, and Brianna White, ISA Certified Arborist, co-owners of Emerald Tree Care LLC, a 14-year TCIA member company in Roselle, Illinois, when they sent Anthony Santisi, who had been with them for three years, off to his new job at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.
