Hi everyone! Did you know that we offer snow removal?! While we haven't accumulated that much snow today, I thought I would just share that information for future purposes. After all, in Michigan, you just never know how much snow we'll get! 😉

We recommend having the snow removed if there are at least 2-3 inches. Joe will also lay salt down if you prefer. All for the price of $35 per removal. Message us today and we can put you on our removal list!

Some of you may know why we started our business, others may not...

Picture this: It's the year 2020. You know the year where people were stock pilling toilet paper in their homes like there was no tomorrow? Yea, that year. Aka; the year of the shutdown from COVID-19.

In the first couple months of the shut down, Joe and I realized something. Since he was home from work, he was able to spend a lot more time with me and our (at the time) 3 year old daughter. The world seemed like it was falling apart but we felt happy being able to spend quality family time with one another. It was at that moment, May 2020 to be exact, that we decided instead of Joe going back to work, we would start our own handyman business.

Fast forward 5 years later and here we are today! Was everything all sunshine and rainbows? Absolutely not. We have learned a lot within these past 5 years of our business. Owning a small business isn't for the faint of heart. However, we wouldn't change it for the world! We have met some really great people along the way. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for our loyal and new customers alike. We also have gotten a lot more family time than what we would've had if Joe was working the typical 9-5. For that, we will forever be truly grateful.

I say all of this because when I saw this meme, it made me think of how it feels to own a small business. The secret to a happy life IS to be adjustable.

📢PSA: The Handyman Never Left... But The Social Media Manager Did 😅

So… it’s been about 3 years since we posted on this page. But let’s be clear; Babbitt Handyman Services never left! We’ve just been over here doing the work while the business page was busy with... collecting digital dust. 😳

My husband? Busy fixing, building, installing, and being the reliable handyman everyone calls when things go sideways. 🧰
Me? Busy homeschooling, running life behind the scenes, and yes… still very active on my personal page. Just not… this one. Whoops!

But hey, we’re back now, and just in time for summer project season!
If you’ve got a house full of little jobs, big jobs, or mystery tasks that need a hero with a tool belt; we’ve got you!

(P.s. We even do mechanical work as well. 😉)
