Here's some step replacement with some handrail over-haul, tightening up the looseness.
And a lil patch up on the approach.

The winter weather does terrible things to our concrete steps. It's a good thing there's people out there that FIX things like this!

Here's your fix for the day...

Originally a basement window that was bricked up, and not properly. They left the steel lentil in AS WELL as the original steel window frame behind the brick, and only tied in one side... what a mess. So the customer had water coming in their basement. "Let's put it back the way it's supposed to be" they said, but had a difficult time finding someone that wanted to touch it.

I like taking on the tough ones. And it feels good to have another happy customer!

It's a real shame when a customer has to pay for a fix TWICE! ... Tore out these recently poured concrete steps today because the first guy poured the two lower steps at 6" each, leaving an 11" rise to the porch cap!

The right call was made, and the right FIX was applied by installing this cast concrete steps system. Now there is a good flow walking up that nobody will get hurt on.

A little before and after on this basement window fix I did over the weekend. These old block basements brighten up so much with the glass block facelift. Glass block windows provide a significant difference in insulation, security, AND privacy. And can be installed all year round.

Here's a Saturday fix. This one had been bowed in quite some time. New concrete was poured right up to the bad wall. So the concrete had to be cut back to rebuild the wall properly.
