We were able to help this client take their IKEA bookshelves to the next level. Adding a base to elevate them a bit along with trim and crown makes these look more like a custom unit. This was achieved by lower cabinets with pull out trays, adjustable side shelves, butcher block countertops, and four levels of wrap-around floating shelves.
