Her background at the esteemed design firm, Cullman and Kravis, gave her the foundation for traditional design early in her career. This experience established her groundwork for detail, project management & the understanding of the design business. During her partnership at ZK Interiors Ltd., she worked on creating transitional designs with a large roster of clientele. As she moved to London in 2009, she formed Cara Zolot Interiors until partnering at Morris & Woodhouse Interiors in 2013.

Cara Woodhouse Interiors is a full service design firm based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Their design services include architecture consulting, contract management, spatial planning, material & finish selections, custom furniture, millwork and antiquing. Cara strives to find the perfect balance in each space . Design is Cara’s passion, it also happens to be her job. Nothing gives her more satisfaction than collaborating with clients to create their dream homes.

PERIDOT DREAMS ▪️ A masterclass in immersive hospitality design, this extraordinary cocktail lounge transforms color, light, and form into an unforgettable experience. Wrapped in a custom olivine plaster shell and illuminated by thousands of glowing points of light, the space feels both futuristic and intimate. Sculptural seating, polished metal surfaces, and veined green marble create a rich sensory landscape where every detail has been carefully considered. LOVE THIS ▪️ It captures something I’ve always believed but never quite put into words: great design is only part of the equation. The real magic happens when every touchpoint speaks the same language.

What identified so beautifully is that my work has never been about following trends. It’s about creating a feeling. A mood. A point of view that is instantly recognizable whether you’re looking at an interior, a piece of furniture, a product collaboration, a book, or a social post.

The goal was never to create more content.

The goal was to build a world.

TRANSFORMATION IN PROGRESS ▪️ This year is all about investing in myself, feeling my best, and embracing transformation from the inside out. I started my XERF treatment journey at Liquid Luxury Aesthetics and wanted to bring you all along with me through the process. Ina walked me through everything and explained how XERF combines radio frequency and ultrasound technology to help tighten skin, stimulate collagen, improve texture, and create a more sculpted, lifted appearance over time. We reviewed the immediate results right after the treatment and I genuinely could already see and feel a difference in my skin. It’s subtle, natural, and exactly the kind of beauty treatment I love.
