The summer seedlings are growing big and strong! Baby cucumbers, peppers and yellow squash have made an appearance. Just finished planting the last section of our raised beds with some of our seedlings.

Talk about a ✨ GLOW UP✨ These photos were taken just 2.5 weeks apart... and I just harvested lettuce for a taco salad!

How to make a salad bowl planter:

1. Purchase supplies
- Use any pot 10inches or wider.
- Organic raised bed soil mix
- Organic Veggie/herb seedlings - we used 7 in our planter
- Organic Garden Tone or other fertilizer (optional)
- Compost (optional)

2. Add soil to the planter and mix in garden tone (see the bag for quantity). Leave about 2 inches at the top for compost.

3. Plan out where you'll add the seedlings. Then, one by one dig a small hole to place the seedling in. Don't compact the soil, but do make sure the plant is upright.

4. After all seedlings are in the planter, add 2 inches of compost around them. This is optional but provides additional nutrition for the growing seedlings.

That's it! Easy peasy. In just a few weeks you'll be able to enjoy your first (of many) harvests!
