Baby week apparently at the homestead! Our 25 meat chickens are growing nicely, our rabbit gave birth and it looks like 6 or 7 babies, and our resident duck stole eggs and hatched 4 baby chickens so far!
We shall see if more babies come out from under the coop!

It’s a GREAT DAY!! After 21 weeks of raising Easter Egger chickens we got our 1st Blue egg!!! I’m so proud and happpppppppy!!!!

We slaughtered our Cornish cross chickens for the first time! I have to say Karen is one awesome lady! Less than a year ago we lived in Whitehall with a cat and now she is gutting a chicken she raised herself! Proud of you babe!

Built a tree fort with the girls this weekend!

So apparently The Blessed Nest has a duck!! Walked out to check on the chickens and get some eggs and came out to this duck! Now she’s living her best life swimming in the kiddy pool lol
