Tried something new recently. Refinished this old, scuffed up bathtub with a resurfacing kit. It was basically some cleaning supplies and 2 big cans of pretty potent coating that went on like spray paint. The key here is making sure the surface is cleaned well and free of any residue before applying the coating. So far I am happy with the results. Only time will tell exactly how durable it is. If it turns out to be pretty durable, it'll be a decent, fairly quick solution that saved the owner a bunch of money as opposed to replacing the tub.

The front doors of project houses have become a bit of a focal point and pet project for me. The front door is one of the first things someone sees before they enter the home. In my mind, approaching the front door should be a notable experience, and representative of what's inside.

Customer wanted part of this deck space turned into a closet for the bedroom since it didn't have one. Converting the second window into the closet doorway worked out just fine.

Did this with my own kitchen cabinet hinges to clean them up before painting them. I was happy with the result, and suggested doing it for this homeowner instead of them buying 50 new hinges. Going to paint them to match the new brushed nickel k***s and pull handles they want. Takes a few rounds to get them good and clean, but they paint up nice after, and we saved the owner some $$$.
